Day 01:

Airport – Antananarivo – city – hotel (15 km).

Tongasoa!!! (Welcome) to Antananarivo capital of Madagascar Antananarivo means ’city of thousand’ because a thousand warriors protected it. By the end 18th century, Andrianampoinimerina King had taken Antananarivo from his rebellious kinsman and moved his base there from Ambohimanga. We drive to middle of the city. Overnight at Chalet des Roses hotel.

Day 02:

Antananarivo – Ankarafatsika (453 km)

After breakfast, departure to Ankarafatsika. On the way, the landscapes are varied of mangoo trees, palm forest of Bismarck, the millers, rivers, grasslands and small traditional Sakalava houses. Evening start for night walk to see some sportive lemurs, western wolly lemur, mouse lemurs, etc. Overnight at Gite d’Ankarafatsika.

Day 03:

Ankarafatsika National Park visit – hotel

After breakfast .start the trekking to National Park of Ankarafatsika is rich in fauna and flora and also has high rates of endemicity: birds (120species), reptiles (70 species), mamals (22 species), endangered breeding turtles (Erymnochelys madagascariensis, Geochelone yniphora and Pyxis planicauda), dense and dry forest. Overnight at Gite d’Ankarafatsika.

Day 04:

Ankarafatsika – Antsohihy – Ambanja – hotel (380 km)

After breakfast; we drive from Ankarafatsika to Ambanja: On the way, we see the nice Landscapes, the local people in the Northern part of Madagascar and village too. On midday, arrival in Antsohihy and we stop at a local restaurant for having lunch. After tree hours drive from Antsohihy, we arrive in Ambanja which is a capital of Cacao plantations of this Island. Hotels check in. Overnight at Palmanova hotel.

Day 05:

Ambanja – Cacao plantation visit – Ankarana – hotel (108 km)

After breakfast, we have a short visit at the Cacao plantation with a local guide and then coming back to the hotel. After lunch, heading to Ankarana village and arrival there later in afternoon t hotel check in. Overnight at chez Laurent.

Day 06:

Ankarana – Ankarana National Park visit – Ankarana – hotel

Full day visit of the Ankarana National Park.
Today, you and your personal guide will start you trail to discover different species of lemurs and other wildlife including Northern sportive lemur and Dwarf lemurs, Ring-tailed Mongoose, etc. This park is home to 100bird species, 50 reptiles (including some endemic and threatened snakes and geckos) then 10 frogs cohabit in the Park. Inside the spectacular and huge labyrinth of caves, 14 bat species. Overnight at chez Laurent.

Day 07:

Ankarana – Red Tsingy – Diego Suarez – Ramena – hotel (138km)

After breakfast, we continue driving to the north part of Madagascar. On the way, we bifurcate to the Red Tsingy and Visit at these amazing red calc stones. Arrival in Diego Suarez in afternoon and transfer to Ramena beach. Overnight at La case en Falafy

Day 08:

Ramena – Diego Suarez – Amber Mountain National Park visit – Diego – Ramena – hotel

After breakfast, heading to Amber Mountain car park. This trip takes about one hours which is located around 30km south of Diego Suarez. Today, we have half day for exploring the Amber Mountain National Park. This is one the most popular hiking Parks. Splendid scenery, including lush mountain rainforest, crater lakes and the best view of waterfalls. Amber Mountain is an isolated patch of mountain forest that rises from the surrounding dry region. You will see some lemurs (crowned and Sanford’s); birds (look for Madagascar crested ibis and white throated oxylabes) and various reptiles. Overnight at La Case en Falafy.

Day 09:

Ramena – Emerald Sea – Three Baies – Ramena – hotel

Your driver and guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you with your bags to the place where you will start the boat excursion to emerald sea to see gorgeous turquoise waters. This beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling with its shallow water. We provide you testy sea food during the excursion. We pass by to the tree Baies and coming back to the hotel. Overnight at La Case en Falafy.

Day 10:

Diego Suarez to Antananarivo by Flight or Road.
